DOFF Steam Cleaning
Steam Cleaning is a system that has been designed and developed to remove paint, biological matter, dirt, and grime effectively, without causing any harm or shock to the surface being cleaned. The DOFF System is capable of reaching temperatures of up to 150 degrees at the nozzle end. This cleaning technique is used for stonework and masonry surfaces, where high-temperature steam is used to clean. Despite the high temperature, the pressure applied to the surface being cleaned is very gentle, and the volume of water used is low. Therefore, the surface is not saturated and will dry within minutes.

Is the price you quote me fixed?
Yes, the price we send on your official quote is the price you pay. We prefer not to give over the telephone prices as there are lots of factors that need to be considered before a price can be offered. Prices are valid for 3 months.
Are your staff insured?
Yes, we are fully insured for the work we undertake.

Do I have to be home when the cleaning staff come?
No, we send you appointment reminders including one the day before we are due to arrive. This helps everyone as there may be access issues that need addressing.
Also, we send you an invoice, so you don’t need to be there in person to pay.
However, some clients prefer to be at home as they like to see the results immediately.
It can be a large investment improving the looks to your home and if you prefer to be around, we are happy for you to watch us work.

How can I pay?
An Invoice is emailed to you and payment can be made via bank transfer quoting the reference number found on your invoice.
If you do not have an email address, we can send your invoice in person with our team on the day of the job.
For Window cleaning rounds we use a system called Go Cardless. The whole process is automated and secure. Once the cleaner has been your payment will be requested, and you will never pay if your windows have not been cleaned.

What are the benefits of using Soft Washing over a pressure washer?
Soft Wash is a term used to explain the process of remove the algae and organic stains from your property with an application of a chemical at low-pressure hence the term Soft Wash.
Pressure washing uses a much higher pressure – 3000psi, this can often damage your property.
Our chemical treatment uses a blend of water, sodium Hypochlorite and biocide and cleans much better without the damage a pressure washer can cause.

Will your chemicals damage my grass?
We take precautions to try and elimate the risk of damage however it is possible that damage to your grass could be caused, however when using a company like Blue Whale SWS on completion of our work we apply a solution called Plant Wash.
Plant Wash when used during the Soft Washing application will ensure you don’t damage plants and grass when used in accordance with the Soft Wash training program
Neutralises the bleach
Liqufertilises the plants through their leaves
Coats the leaves with a buffering agent
Adds back vital nutrients at the base of the plants, helping beneficial bacteria to repopulate the soil.
Along with this we thoroughly rinse with clean water, before, during and after the cleaning, Plant Wash is used as a final rinse to make sure every step has been taken to protect your landscape.
